Our Production Line Capabilities
Our production line is a cost effective solution for those looking to do medium to large quantities of parts up to 24' L, 7' H, 4' W.
6 Stage Pre-Treatment For Longer Lasting Paint
Our main production line is equipped with a 6 stage wash and uses chemicals designed to prepare your substrate for the longest lasting paints on the market. In order for us to use these AAMA-2605 grade powders, a dedicated wash system for non-ferrous metals is required. And its true! we are the only ones in Ontario that do this! Other coaters use multi-metal chemistry that just doesn't work as well. The top paint suppliers recognize this which is why they will not certify these types of lines to use the caliber of paints Decora uses.
Gema Optiflex 2 System For A Consistent Coating
Our main production line is fitted with a brand new Gema Optiflex 2 system comprised of 14 reciprocating, automatic guns and 2 manual paint guns for our touch up artists. Light curtains automatically adjust our automatic guns to give the most uniform coating possible. Consistent thickness is crucial in coating performance and our brand new system makes uniformity a standard in our coating process.
PLC Monitored Curing For A Guaranteed Coating
With every step in powder-coating being as crucial as the last, the final curing stage is key! Each paint has a specific cure time based on metal temperatures to give a factory grade finish, manufacturer spec in gloss, adhesion, and colour. Your parts are guaranteed to get a proper cure at Decora. Our 100ft 2 stage oven equipped with infrared AND convection heating is PLC monitored to ensure every finish is as perfect as the last!
